Castlevania for ZX Spectrum – Digital and Physical version
It is unlikely that you have not heard of Castlevania, a unique game about Count Dracula, vampires and their confrontation with the Belmont clan. This game was originally released in Japan by Konami and then was re-released in various variations on all kinds of platforms, game consoles, and, of course, arcade machines.
The ZX Spectrum was not left out. In 2015 the fans of this game created a team called Rewind and made actually a new part of the game Castlevania: Spectral Interlude, revealing some plots that the authors of the original idea were silent about. The ZX Spectrum version runs on any classic or compatible machine with at least 128K RAM.
Now Castlevania: Spectral Interlude is also available as a physical version, it is the official release of the game, which means the authors receive royalties from each copy sold.
The game is available in many languages, but the physical version only has English. Keep this in mind, if you decide to add it to your collection of releases. By the way, right after purchasing the physical version you get a digital license and can play in any available language.
Happy playing!
