Do You Have Other Friends?
Well, another year is coming to an end. And, as usual, these days it’s customary to sum up the results and make some plans for the next year.
For ZX Online it was quite a good year – we published several interesting games, including games for ZX Spectrum Next, our audience has doubled and more people have joined our retro gaming scene. I personally as well as all the authors, who publish their works on ZXOnline, are very glad about it.
Next year we already have a lot of ZX Online changes planned, it’s going to be even faster, more useful and interesting – we plan to redesign the site, upgrade a new emulator, finally release rating system, and something else (we keep it a secret, but trust me, it will be huge, not only for ZX Online, but for the whole platform in general!).
But we don’t want to limit ourselves to ZX Spectrum, because (let’s be honest) ZX Spectrum is the best platform in the world, but it’s not the only one. That’s why both from developers and users we receive periodically questions – why don’t we support other retro platforms too?
Well. Challenge accepted! And this is precisely the case when you personally can influence the future of our resource.
We invite you to take a short survey to express your attitude towards popular retro platforms. We will carefully analyze your data and present the results to the public. The survey is very short and only takes a couple of minutes.

Thank you for helping us stay relevant and growing 🙂
Today also I have one more not so happy thing to report – starting December 23, we will (temporarily?) stop accepting payments via Paypal. The other payment methods will continue to work as before, and with that we will be looking for other ways to re-enable Paypal. So if you were planning to buy something on ZX Online in the near future, do it now.

This year has not been easy, but regardless of what the future year 2023 holds, I wish you all good health, happiness and success in all your endeavors. May your families be warm and cozy all year long, and may the ZX Spectrum screen glow green in the “special” corner.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, friends!
