About the game

Street Fighter 2 is a port of Capcom's famous fighting game, but for TS-Config. The graphics are taken from the SNES version and have an interesting color scheme, 256 colors for background graphics and 16 colors for sprites. The game engine is written from scratch and has its own features.

Technical features

Minimum requirements: Computer or emulator compatible with TS-Config, support for at least one AY-8910. In this case, music will work on three channels. The monitor will display a palette of 64 colors. Resolution: 320x200

Recommended: Computer or emulator compatible with TS-Config, 2xAY-8910 (TFM, TurboSound), Covox, VDAC 1(2). In this case, music will play in 6 channels, and SFX on Covox. The monitor will display a palette of 256 colors. Resolution: 320x200

Game settings

Redefine keys – reassign keys

AY / TAY – one AY (3 channels) or two AY (6 channels)

Turbo mode – if turned off, during hits, the camera will slow down like in a movie, so you can enjoy the hits, although the game dynamics will suffer.

Controls

The authors strongly recommend using a three-button joystick from Sega Megadrive 1. Like this one:

All characters differ in strike speed and hitbox size. Choose a character to your liking.

Tips

If you have Full Kempston, you can play without touching the keyboard, start the game with the "start" button on your joystick.

The game automatically detects how many AY processors you have; if one, the game starts with music for 3 channels; if two, the game starts with music for 6 channels. In the options, you can adjust the sound settings for yourself, but if you only have one AY, the sound settings option will be locked. Additionally, COVOX effects are automatically played in the game.

Characters have not only different special moves, but also different hitboxes and move mechanics. Experiment.

Added a "draw" situation, meaning previously either player one or two always won, now if the energy is equal and the time runs out, there are no winners. The round will have to be played again.

There were complaints about the computer's AI being easily beaten with low kicks. Of course, this bug is fixed.

An additional option has appeared to choose the game difficulty (Easy/Normal)
